The chief financial officer is responsible for planning, organizing and directing the finance department, consisting of corporate compliance and legal services, information technology, financial services, capital planning, risk management and insurance. The CFO assists the CEO on an as needed basis with emphasis on system strategic and financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial performance and system operational and administrative issues. |

Chief Nursing Officer
The chief nursing officer provides mission and values-based vision and leadership in the achievement of nursing excellence. The CNO has a leadership role in strengthening the role of nursing and its impact on overall quality, safety and financial outcomes. In addition, the CNO develops and facilitates processes to ensure appropriate input and involvement of nursing leaders system wide in the CHE strategic planning. |

Executive Vice President, Mission Integration
As executive vice president, mission integration, Sr. Mary Persico provides direct leadership for a System-wide sponsorship structure that includes the orientation and education of sponsoring religious communities and new CHE Sponsors, and the oversight of CHE’s Public Juridic Person. She also provides leadership, support and assistance to the mission and ethics functions, as well as to Global Health Ministry.
