Ken Cormier Named President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Joseph of the Pines Health System

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA – Catholic Health East (CHE), one of the nation's leading Catholic health care systems, announced the recent appointment of Ken Cormier as the new president and chief executive officer of St. Joseph of the Pines, Southern Pines, North Carolina, a regional health corporation of CHE.

Cormier was previously named interim president and CEO for St. Joseph of the Pines in October 2007. He replaced John Capasso who was named president and CEO of the Continuing Care Management Services Network, a supportive health corporation of CHE. Ken also served as the chief operating officer at St. Joseph of the Pines since July 2002.

Cormier has managed continuing care retirement communities and has been involved in the community, having served on many local boards. He earned a master's degree in health care administration from Tulane University in New Orleans and a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette.
