New Communications Executive Appointed by Catholic Health East
For Immediate Release Catholic Health East (CHE), one of the nation's leading Catholic healthcare systems, announced the recent appointment of Scott H. Share as Vice President, System Communications. In this position, Share is responsible for developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies and programs for Catholic Health East, and serving as a communications resource for the System's health care facilities throughout the East Coast. "Scott brings a wealth of communications experience and expertise to our health system", according to Robert Stanek, President and Chief Executive Officer of Catholic Health East. "His extensive background in strategic communications, issues management, marketing and public relations will be a tremendous asset and important resource for our healing ministry." Share has nearly 25 years of health care communications' experience at the consultant, hospital and health system level. His areas of expertise include internal & external communications, public and media relations, advertising, marketing and market research. Most recently, Share served as Vice President of Marketing for Lourdes Health System in Camden, New Jersey, a regional health corporation of Catholic Health East, where he was responsible for the full range of communications and marketing activities. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Temple University. He resides in Langhorne, PA with his wife and four children. Catholic Health East is a multi-institutional Catholic health system, which is co-sponsored by 15 religious congregations and Hope Ministries, a Public Juridic Person within Catholic Health East. Based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, the System provides the means to ensure the continuation of the Catholic identity and operational strength of the sponsors' health ministries, which are located within 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida. The System includes acute care hospitals, free-standing and hospital-based skilled nursing facilities, residential facilities, free-standing behavioral health and rehabilitation facilities, and numerous ambulatory and community based health services. Catholic Health East facilities employ approximately 43,000 full time employees as partners in ministry.
