Implementation
Implemented the Alzheimer Support Center, meeting the specific care requirements of residents who suffer from Alzheimer Disease and closely related dementia disorders. The 20-bed support center was designed structurally to facilitate socialization by encouraging resident self-mobility. A circular, secured wander garden, modeled on an Old English garden, is easily accessible to patients. Staff are in-serviced in dementia care interventions prior to assignments.
